The group operates across a variety of segments including accommodation, pubs and gaming, retail liquor, conference and events centres, chartered vessels, and both commercial and residential developments.
About the Venue
Nestled in the CBD, The Bristol is a newly refurbished, multi-faceted precinct, boasting a Rooftop bar, Cocktail lounge, Public Bar, Sports Bar, Restaurant and Premium nightclub space.

About the role
As the Restaurant Manager you will take the lead in creating memorable moments in our Restaurant, Ela Ela.
You will oversee the operation of Ela Ela, as well as supporting the Venue Manager with administrative and operational functions.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for all things hospitality and who loves high volume environments.
We are looking for someone who has a strong belief in ensuring work is a creative environment, takes satisfaction in developing their team and above all can grow and adapt with the expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Venue Manager to drive the Restaurant's performance by contributing to the bigger picture, managing costs, identifying, and increasing revenue opportunities, and ensuring continuous improvement through your ability to think outside the box.
Work with the Head Chef, Venue Manager, and Bar Manager on menu design and upsell initiatives.
Have a calming influence on guests and team members; maintaining a positive, and level-headed demeanour during peak service periods, and assisting the team with the resolution of any issues that may come our way.
Manage rostering with consideration to payroll budgets and manning guide.
Have a desire to create an amazing experience for each guest and the ability to instil this in your team.
Have an eye for detail and venue presentation; ensuring impeccable cleanliness and good repair of the outlets addressing and rectifying any discrepancies.
About you
Have experience working in full table service al a carte restaurants as a Duty Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager.
Up-to-date with current and upcoming food and wine trends.
Have a working knowledge and understanding of legal compliance, SOP's, WHS, modern award framework and national employment standards.
Enjoy a hands-on role.
Hold a current RSA.
