The group operates across a variety of segments including accommodation, pubs and gaming, retail liquor, conference and events centres, chartered vessels, and both commercial and residential developments.The Role:We are looking for an experienced professional with the passion and ability to create memorable events for our customers and provide sales and operational support to the team. The successful candidate will oversee the events space at our Sydney CBD hospitality venues from start to finish including meeting with clients, quoting business, assisting with stock control, setting up and packing down event spaces and seeking feedback after the event to improve future events. We offer a flexible roster that helps to accommodate a healthy work-life balance. This is a great opportunity for someone confident with coordinating events to further their skills with the support of our amazing team.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and market event servicesFacilitate inbound and outbound sales efforts to generate new revenue opportunitiesWork closely with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and expectationsPrepare detailed run sheets, event and floor plans, timelines, and menus to ensure successful executionMotivate and lead the bar and floor team to create a memorable experience for all customersCommunicate effectively with management team and kitchenEnsure end to end running of eventMaintain accurate records of each event, including client preferences, contracts, and correspondenceMaintain post-event reports and analysis to improve future event planning.About you:Passionate about creating amazing social, corporate, and special eventsMinimum of at least 1 year experience in the events space or looking to take the next step in your hospitality career.Enjoy working to high standards in a fast-paced environmentHighly organised with the ability to supervise, support and assist in operationsGreat time management and communication skillsProblem solving skills and the ability to find the yesPrevious experience using IVVY platform strongly preferred
