We are committed to providing equal opportunity for everyone and welcoming people of all backgrounds, identities, experiences, abilities, and life stages.About the roleCSR is seeking a dedicated Branch Controller to oversee stock management, logistics, and compliance while providing excellent customer service and fostering a safe, efficient work environment.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity at our predominantly single-person branch in Coffs Harbour.Key Responsibilities:Stock Management: Maintain stock accuracy and optimal levels, coordinating transport requirements to meet customer demands.Local Logistics: Oversee receiving materials and ensuring timely deliveries to customers, involving local transport coordination.Process Compliance: Adhere to branch procedures, audit requirements, and customer credit policies to ensure seamless operations.Data Entry: Accurately process customer orders with strong computer skills, including proficiency in SAP.Safety & Compliance: Enforce and adhere to all Work Health, Safety, and Environment (WHSE) requirements, Job Safety Instructions, and Chain of Responsibility (COR) obligations in loader, consignee, and consignor roles.Hazard Inspection & SHE Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits aligned with the branch's Risk Reduction Plan.Branch Growth & Development: Work with the Area Manager to identify improvement opportunities, focusing on reducing slow-moving stock turnover and achieving branch goals.What you bring to the role:Forklift license and experience is essential.A proactive approach to process improvement and customer service.Strong understanding of WHSE standards and safety procedures.Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.Familiarity with stock management and customer credit policies.What we offer:We strive to support your professional and personal growth.
