We are recruiting a
Senior Estimator
for a privately owned main contractor who deliver civil works to the mining and civil industries throughout the NSW region. Based from our clients Head Offices located in Lane Cove, this role presents the successful candidate the opportunity to join a strong & collaborative working environment with a stable business, that invests heavily in staff development.In this role, you will be working closely with Management, Site Supervisors, Suppliers, and stakeholders by utilising Expert Estimation to determine the costs associated with completing the scope of work in a tender or quote. Typical tenders will consist of civil / earthworks projects ranging in value from $500k - $30m. You will prepare quotations and tenders by interpreting detailed scopes of works, specifications and drawings for all aspects of the business including:Civil worksBulk earthworksRoadworksGeneral maintenanceWaste and potable water managementCandidate Criteria:
At least 5 years experience working in a similar role.Proficient in the following software:
Expert EstimationMS OfficeMS ProjectP6SimpPRO Project Management Software
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.Track record successfully tendering on projects including earthworks, concrete, NPI, roadworks, and drainage.Track record successfully tendering on projects ranging from $500k - $30m in value.Full Australian working rights.On Offer:
