A recognised leader in paediatric healthcare, education and research, Children's Health Queensland delivers a full range of clinical services, tertiary level care and health promotion programs.
We provide an integrated network of services through:
Statewide services and programs, including specialist outreach and telehealth services Partnerships with other hospital and health services and non-government organisations Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
The position of Project Officer will lead a specific action from the CHQ HHS's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Equity Strategy 2022 – 2025 (Health Equity Strategy) Implementation Plan , to consider and develop health equity models of care that address wait list issues for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients (inpatients and outpatients).
This work aligns to the Health Equity Strategy's Performance Measures and the National Agreement of Closing the Gap.
