About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to be accountable for all operational matters and have shared responsibilities for providing executive and professional leadership, expertise and management of the Alcohol and Drug Service in accordance with the policy directions of Queensland Health.
The Alcohol and Drug Service incorporates two state-wide Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) programs: Adis 24/7 Alcohol and Drug Support; and Insight: Centre for Alcohol and other Drug Training and Workforce Development.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Manage the financial, human and physical resources to optimise mental health service outcomes and actively intervene as appropriate to ensure expected outputs and outcomes are met and are consistent with performance agreements.Contribute to the MNMHHS strategic management processes as a member of the MNMH Executive representing the district in state-wide health policy development activities as required.Manage the performance appraisal and development of subordinate staff.Health Equity
