Statewide services and programs, including specialist outreach and telehealth servicesPartnerships with other hospital and health services and non-government organisationsThe position of Assistant Director of Nursing – Health Equity, Access and Care Coordination will:
Provide contemporary operational and professional nursing leadership for the services located within and connected to the unit.Shape clinical and corporate governance; and provide the coordination of service delivery, human and material management, expertise in health care team communication and highly-developed data analysis and fiscal management to facilitate safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision.Partner with Divisional and Executive leadership across the organisation to support equitable and high-quality care provision to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families.Leverage existing partnerships across the health sector to advance the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people.The position will also work in partnership with the Children's Health Queensland Nursing Leadership to fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with CHQ HHS key performance indicators and Queensland Health's core values.What CHQ HHS can offer Apart from contributing to the development of Australia's best paediatric health service, you will also benefit from a competitive remuneration package and a working environment which embraces professional development, builds capabilities, and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing.
