About Novotel Surfers Paradise… Novotel Surfers Paradise is located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, with excellent shopping, entertainment & nightlife areas all close by. The hotel features 408 well-appointed rooms, along with a variety of dining options including: The Restaurant, Blvd Cafe and Bar, pool bar and in-room dining. We offer a relaxed, family friendly environment. For those wanting to unwind we offer a heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball & netball court, BBQ area, gym and kids' corner. For our conferencing & events guests we have 6 modern function rooms available, accommodating up to 500 delegates.
About the role: Permanent Part-time, PPT15, minimum guarantee 15 hours per weekYou will be supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen through food preparation and dishwashingBe responsible for providing the highest level of attention to all aspects of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Kitchen, including but not limited to cutlery, crockery and commercial equipmentRecycling and removal of rubbishAssisting Chefs with food preparation as requiredAdhere to all sanitation and chemical use guidelines.Follow and adhere to all HACCAP hygiene, ALLSafe and WHS requirements.A bit about you: Great energy and a "Find the YES" positive attitude.Good time management skills and a willingness to learn.Ability to multi-task will be essential to this roleProfessional, well-groomed appearance, demonstrating pride in presentation.Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and Public HolidaysExperience in a similar role is idealYou might be a Commercial Cookery Student, looking to gain some practical experienceYou hold valid working rights for AustraliaSo, when will you be joining us?
