About the Opportunity This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced leader to manage the Single Assessment Services contract for Centacare.
This position will drive the capacity and capability in a way that is timely, reflects transformational leadership, is transparent, accountable, quality focused, and fiscally sound.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and drive the implementation of strategic initiatives of the Assessment Organisation.Drive, innovate and continuously improve the performance of the Single Assessment Service functions.Provide strategic guidance, innovative insights within the context of Single Assessment Service functions as well as timely advice to the Senior Leadership team on sector updates including any risks that may impact Centacare services.Maintain validation of the Assessment Organisation's operational readiness, capability and capacity to deliver the entirety of the Aged Care Needs Assessment Services and Service Management Services.Design, implement and/or monitor Single Assessment Service processes.Enable growth of services and the ongoing image of Centacare in the broader community.Lead and deliver an effective and efficient Single Assessment function to all internal and external clients.Assist in the development and maturation of data driven processes and insights, that are accurate, reconcile across functions, and provide organisational insight across relevant streams in line with our contractual requirements.Skills and Experience: This position is identified as 'Key Personnel'.
Your ongoing employment is conditional upon you obtaining and maintaining a positive outcome in any checks required for those in a 'Key Personnel' position as defined under relevant legislation.Minimum of 5 years' experience in senior leadership roles in medium to large scale Community Services providers, ideally Aged Care and/or Disability.Tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline directly related to health aged care or related specialist area e.g.
as a Registered Nurse, Medical Officer, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist with current AHPRA Registration or Social Worker.Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA or part of a relevant professional association.Relevant clinical, business and/or legal tertiary qualifications highly regarded.Proven experience in operational management within community services or a related sector.Experience designing and implementing change within services.Experience within high transactional volume operations and KPI driven environments.Managing budgets and expenditure.High level business/commercial acumen, with demonstrated experience in driving business and process improvements.Understanding of client, team, and organisational metrics, including how to measure performance across multiple levels of an organisation.Demonstrated experience in delivering effective contract management in a complex social services environment with an ability to manage multiple contracts and differing performance metrics including the ability to summarise and present complex information.Conscientious: organised and able to construct and deliver on work plans and excel at working in the detail.Flexible: able to quickly react to the operational environment and pivot based on highly dynamic day-to-day operating variables.Manage competing priorities: effectively manage and work on multiple projects and/or tasks concurrently, whilst meeting operational deadlines.Goal orientated: set team and individual goals and motivate self and team members to achieve them.Interpersonal skills: Exceptional communication both interpersonal and in writing.Strong analytical skills: ability to analyse operational data and demands, and quickly adapt to organisational requirements informed by that data.Proficient IT skills with previous experience working across multiple platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.Undertake MAClearning training and technical skills development.Superior analytical, problem-solving, written, reporting and evaluation knowledge and skills.Demonstrated experience in developing and sustaining influential working relationships with a wide range of informal, internal and external stakeholders including government and statutory bodies.Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence, National Police Check, Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, NDIS Worker Orientation Module, First Aid and CPR, Motor Vehicle with Full Comprehensive Insurance and Registration, and Proof of right to work – Australian Birth Certificate, Passport, citizenship or Visa.Your personal qualities are equally important as your skills and experience.
You will bring the ability to develop respectful and productive relationships with a range of stakeholders, including government and statutory bodies; a collaborative approach; ability to manage competing priorities; and willingness to take personal responsibility for ensuring that in every decision and in every action, we consider the needs of Centacare clients first.
