Our success lies in working together, doing things differently and preparing for the future.We're looking for people who dream big and want to be part of creating meaningful change in our community.About the opportunityWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Asset Management professional to step into a leadership opportunity as Coordinator Asset Management to provide high-level advice and support on asset renewal and replacement.
This role will provide support and leadership to the team during a period of leave.You will make an impact byDeveloping and maintaining a strategic asset management frameworkLeading the implementation and management of the Asset Management Information System (AMIS)Overseeing governance and corporate reportingManaging and delivering projects, including overseeing and supporting development of the Asset PlanCoordinating data collection and managementWhat you will bringStrong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to guide and support a high-performing team.Excellent project management capabilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.Knowledge and proficiency in using Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS)Experience in valuing, depreciating, capitalising and reporting on local government infrastructure in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and the requirements of the Victorian Auditor General's OfficeExtensive experience in strategic asset management, including the development and implementation of asset management frameworks and systems will be highly regarded.If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we invite you to express your interest and join us in enhancing our asset management practices.
