Bus Driver - Grounds and Maintenance OfficerAbout usRegis Aged Care is Australia's largest provider of aged care services, with over 9,000 residents across Residential Aged Care Homes, Retirement Villages and in-Home Care services in all states calling Regis home.About the roleThis is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based at our Regis Retirement Village in Blackburn South.
The ideal applicant would be flexible across all days of the week and be available to drive for specially organized events.A day in the life as our Bus Driver/Maintenance Officer may see you;Transporting aged residents to and from shopping centers every FridayDoing mail runs and bus trips to community events for the residentsAssisting residents with getting on and off the busUpkeeping the gardens at the facility - hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, planting, landscapingTimely reporting on any areas of concernAssisting the Maintenance Officer with preventative and corrective maintenance duties across the facility.About youAs a collaborative and compassionate member of the team, you'll have relevant driving experience, and a passion for working with the elderly should be combined with:Exceptional safe driving skillsPassion for plants and working outdoorsExceptional gardening/maintenance skillsProven ability to work autonomously and manage own timeOccupational Health and Safety knowledgeBenefits to support and reward youEnjoy a flexible working environment giving you better life balance and wellbeingLots of opportunities to realize your potential in an organization that invests in your personal development.
