Winc has a wide product range that can be tailored to our customers' needs.ROLE PURPOSEThe Tasmania DC Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing and improving the operational capacity of the DCs. Headline responsibilities include:Drive the strategic direction of the DC in line with company Values.Provide strong, visible and consistent leadership in accordance with company goals and objectives.Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with the customer to facilitate the successful accomplishment of company objectives and performance indicators.Leadership excellence regarding best practices, compliance, safety, budgeting, planning and people engagement.Ensuring strong working relationships are maintained with Sales, Supply Chain Planning, Customer Service & Transport leadership teams.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESSafetyPromote a safe environment daily, celebrating safety achievements and ensuring Zero Harm culture.Ensure compliance with WHS policies, collaborating with the national safety team for site safety initiatives.Lead the Site Safety Committee, incident investigations, and safety observations.ServiceChampion customer service excellence, aligning team performance with customer needs and business strategies.Drive innovative solutions to meet and exceed service KPIs.Cultivate customer and supplier relationships to enhance service performance.Commercial FocusDevelop and manage budgets, maximizing return and minimizing unplanned expenses.Ensure timely, accurate reporting and create a continuous improvement culture.Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and service levels.Best TeamDemonstrate inspirational leadership by living company values.Align team objectives with business goals, providing coaching and mentoring.Ensure effective communication and collaboration across the team.WHAT WE LOOK FORQualifications and ExperienceProven success in leadership roles within warehousing and logistics operations.Strong commercial acumen in budgeting and finance.Diploma-level qualification in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain (preferred).Proficient in WMS, labour management, TMS, and intermediate MS Office skills.Excellent communication and decision-making skills.Strong project management skills and understanding of OH&S and Industrial Relations legislation.Key Characteristics and CompetenciesEmbodies company values: collaboration, continuous improvement, professionalism, and accountability.Challenges the status quo, driving innovation and continuous improvement.Demonstrates analytical confidence and problem-solving skills.Business-savvy, with expertise in labour, inventory, contractor, and warehouse management systems.WORKING WITH WINCWe believe we're better and smarter together and our values reflect our commitment to creating a welcoming, diverse and inclusive environment.We are committed to First Nations empowerment and support.We're passionate about setting our people up for success and providing the training and tools to enable you to perform your best.We are passionate about First Nations employment and encourage First Nations Peoples to apply.To Apply: Send your resume to the Winc People Team by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts.
