The Mechanical Trade can be based in the following regions: Gold CoastBrisbaneSunshine CoastAbout the Contract Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.

Ventia has been awarded a new water contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentational services across the Seqwater network.
Ventia will provide service excellence across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.

**Candidates must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process** Key Responsibilities Perform and deliver allocated Mechanical workorders from maintenance planService, repair and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes & winches etcPerform administrative tasks and document work progression in the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network including attendance of Pre-start meetingsEnsure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and proceduresReporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.About you Experience Mechanical Trade across large maintenance programs and networksExperience servicing technical mechanical assets actuators, gearboxes and pumpsCurrent C Class Driver LicenceTrade Mechanical certificateProvide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205, MSMPER200 (3-year validity)Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)Diversity Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
