Our organisation will deliver services that best serve a growing community and support a self-sustaining local economy.About the roleThis is a senior position within the Growth & Development Unit where you will manage and coordinate the development of strategic land use planning projects, develop policies and plans to enable the implementation of successful planning outcomes for Moorabool Shire, and provide rigorous and timely strategic planning advice to internal and external stakeholders.You will also be responsible for project management (including budget management) and the coordination and development of Council's projects dealing with growth area planning.What we offerOutstanding flexible working arrangementsMonthly RDOAdditional annual leave - top of band after 12 monthsUp to two additional annual leave days depending on leave accrualsAccess to three health and wellbeing days over the life of the Health and Wellbeing StrategyPayment of increments whilst on parental leaveSix months of super paid on unpaid parental leaveFlexibility Spread of Hours Clause instigated by the employeeUpdates to the Discretionary Leave Clause (now includes gender affirmation related activities, natural disaster and foster caring)Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout youRelevant tertiary qualifications in planning or related discipline are essential.
