About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Deputy Head of Primary School to join our College community, assisting the Head of Primary School in effectively leading and managing the Primary School.
This position will focus on nurturing a positive learning environment for students, creating and upholding curriculum-based programs, and working closely with staff to foster ongoing improvement in teaching methods, curriculum, and student wellbeing.
The Deputy Head of Primary School is a full time promotional position with a tenure of 5 years underpinned by a permanent teaching position.

Skills, experience and attributes required A Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialisation in a related field.Master's degree in education / leadership would be highly regarded (but not essential).Teacher registration with QCT.Demonstrated engagement in ongoing professional development that enhances teaching & leadership skills, keeping up-to-date with curriculum changes, and staying informed about best practices in education through participation in workshops, conferences, and professional learning communities.High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within the College environment, the general public and external agencies with the possession of tact, diplomacy and discretion.A current First Aid Certificate would be desirable but not essential.Culture Staff at FCAC are caring and dedicated people who value relationships, insist on high standards and are supportive of the aims and ethos of an Anglican school.
