About the Role As a Client Liaison Officer at Empower Living, you'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients, support workers, and stakeholders.
This dynamic position involves both office work and field visits, requiring a balance of administrative skills and hands-on engagement with clients and support workers.
Key Responsibilities Conduct client assessments and develop personalized support plansManage and support a team of support workersCoordinate with stakeholders, including other organizations and support coordinatorsMonitor client progress and prepare regular reportsEnsure compliance with NDIS policies and regulationsFacilitate team meetings and provide supervision to support workersEngage in community outreach and relationship buildingWho We're Looking For Someone who is comfortable balancing office work with field work and community engagementA team player who enjoys working in a multicultural environmentAn individual with a solid understanding of the mental health sector and NDISA compassionate professional dedicated to supporting vulnerable individualsA proactive problem-solver eager to make a tangible difference in people's livesFlexibility: Adaptable to varying work environments and client needsInitiative & Creativity: Proactive in problem-solving and innovative in approachEmpathy: Genuine compassion for clients and their unique situationsResilience: Ability to manage challenging situations positivelyLeadership: Capable of guiding and supporting a team of support workersQualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred)Proven experience in intake, assessment, and case managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in relevant software and reporting systemsAdditional Requirements Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field workA valid WWVP cardA Police Check no older than 6 monthsA Day in the Life No two days are the same as a Client Liaison Officer.
You might start your morning visiting client homes, followed by a team meeting to discuss progress reports.
Midday could involve a Zoom call with stakeholders, while the afternoon might be spent conducting a client assessment or providing emergency supervision to a support worker.
Throughout the day, you'll be building relationships, problem-solving on the fly, and making a real difference in people's lives.
