Together with residents, healthcare partners and families, our teams deliver best practice care with the highest standards of safety, clinical practice and governance.
The Location Charles Young, located in Morphettville, our Home offers all levels of permanent, respite and palliative care whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit the needs of every individual.
The Job Promote wellness, independence, social connections and recreation activities based on the needs and interests of our residents.
Assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of meaningful activity programs that engage and connect our residents and aligns with their choices.
Assist in the organisation of social and recreational activities.
Be the smiling face who brightens the day of our residents at Tantula Rise.
You bring: A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Cert III in aged careExperience in a similar roleA current First Aid Certificate (with CPR)NDIS clearance (or ability to obtain one prior to commencement)Experience in delivering social and recreational activities and programs to seniorsA background in providing support to residents with cognitive impairmentA genuine passion to work with the elderlyFabulous communication, teamwork and basic computer skillsCurrent flu and COVID Vaccinations (mandatory)What We Can Offer Salary packaging options and tax benefits for Not for ProfitOngoing Training and CoachingA range of employee benefits & discountsEmployee Assistance ProgramBring your passion for quality care and in return, we will provide you with an opportunity to build an outstanding career by expanding and developing your skills.
