Company DescriptionThe Yiros Shop is a family owned and operated business that pays homage to traditional Greek street food by adding a new yet authentic modern twist.The Yiros Shop has quickly become one of Queensland's most favourite Fast Food Restaurants serving traditional Greek Yiros filled with delicious tastes and flavours, snack-boxes, salads and delicious Greek desserts. Our stores have a fun, chilled out atmosphere for our customers and cater for 50/50 eat-in and takeaway.The Yiros Shop currently has 14 locations stretching across Brisbane, Moreton Bay region and the Gold Coast region with more locations opening all the timeJob DescriptionWe are looking for experienced Assistant Restaurant Managers and Restaurant Managers within the Gold Coast region.**We are not accepting overseas applicants - We cannot sponsor**The Job involves:Opening and closing the storeSupervising and managing employees including juniorsTraining and development of all staff to achieve outstanding resultsConducting performance evaluationsTrialing and training new employeesMonitoring store performance and meeting KPIsRostering, inventory, ordering, and reportingHandling customer complaints and concernsFood preparation including deep fryer/grill useCash handling and register operationCleaning and maintaining the storeQualificationsThe right candidate must have:Strong and demonstrated management experienceStrong leadership skills; motivating and leading a young team, setting goals and ensuring they are achievedStrong customer service skillsUnderstanding and ability to enforce food safety regulationsStrong time management skillsFlexibility and ability to adapt to changeAttention to detail to ensure the store is clean and in good running orderTraining and development experienceMotivation to keep your team motivated and on taskAbility to work as a team with a friendly attitude and a genuine passion for the fast food industryAdditional InformationMandatory RequirementsFood Safety Certificate - I'm Alert Food Safety Course - FREE onlineWorking rights - passport and visa grant for international workersRSA Certificate to be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment
