What is the opportunity? Oakey Beef Exports is currently recruiting for a Quality Checker (QC Operator) in the Coldstores Dept.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager. We are currently seeking self-motivated individuals with an interest in Food Safety and Quality checking in the red meat industry.
This position will support Oakey Beef Exports Quality Assurance Team in meeting all company requirements in relation to food safety on a day-to-day basis.
The applicant will also need to build a collaborative relationship with production supervisors and staff and ensure all food safety standards are kept and maintained.
What skills are we looking for? Policing all government and company food safety policies.Checking of temperatures, cartons & contents, labels, and hygiene requirements.Monitoring of company hygiene policies & procedures.Recording & electronic data entering of monitoring findings.Feedback to Management & Supervisors.Ensure all Food Safety requirements are followed.What experience are we looking for? Experience in the Red Meat Industry.Certificate II in Meat Processing would be beneficial.Have a very keen eye for detail.Commitment to training and the ability to obtain certifications.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.Why choose Oakey Beef Exports?
