The PositionWe are on the look-out for a Anaesthetist for a full-time or part-time role in North Queensland.This is a great opportunity to join a department which provides anaesthesia for orthopaedic, trauma, general, gynaecological, obstetric, paediatric, ENT, dental, ECT and endoscopic procedures.
They also provide a pre-assessment clinic, an acute pain service and obstetric epidural service whilst supporting the trauma and cardiac arrest teams.You will be working within an accredited training facility and thus you will be required to supervise Principal House Officers, Junior House Officers and Interns, Registrars and Provisional Fellows.Health ServiceThis health service is a contemporary organisation with more than 3000 employees, providing extensive health services in a range of regional, community and rural settings, to a population of around 180,000 people.

Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of AnaesthetistsThe PackageTotal remuneration value of up to $470,780 (L24) is comprised of: A salary between $204,206 - $237,196 (L18-L24) Total remuneration value of up to $514,452 (L27) is comprised of: A salary between $244,201 - $258,910 (L25-L27)Other Benefits Include:12.75% employer superannuation contribution 17.5% leave loading is paid for 4 weeks leave Generous Salary Sacrificing (conditions apply) Professional Development Leave 3.6 weeks p.a.
