The North West Nutrition and Dietetic Department provides an acute, clinical service to a diverse range of people from birth to end of life who experience conditions requiring nutritional intervention.
We are looking for a Dietitian to fill a junior inpatient vacancy at the North West Regional Hospital in Burnie.
You will work as part of a supportive team to manage your own inpatient caseload at the hospital, with opportunities to shadow experienced Senior Dietitians managing more complex cases.

The Role: We're looking for a passionate and motivated Dietitian to join our dynamic team on the stunning North West Coast.

As an effective member of multidisciplinary teams, the Dietitian:
Provides a professional clinical dietetic service to patients within the allocated clinical workload in accordance with organisational Policies, Best Practice Standards, and the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) Code of Conduct.
Contributes to the overall functioning of the Nutrition and Dietetic Service and other health teams and engages positively in the ongoing development of existing and new services.
Details of Appointment: Fixed term, full time, day worker, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from January 2025 until June 2025.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022 .
Salary Packaging: You will have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Dietitians Australia or overseas qualified dietitians will be required to complete Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) through Dietitians Australia.
Holds, or is eligible for, full membership with Dietitians Australia.
Eligible to join the Accredited Practising Dietitian Program.
Or where regulatory requirements exist, NDIS Q&S Commission Provider Registration Requirements .
