ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the CEO, you will have high responsibility for running day-to-day finance as well as supporting projects the business has on the go.
DUTIESManaging the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports;Oversee and manage cashflow, liquidity requirements and drawdowns;Ownership and management over the business model;Management and oversight of treasury including ensuring adequate funding available to meet the group's obligations;Project work including conducting due diligence and preparing financial models;Monitor and manage the company's financial risk;Liaison with investors and lenders;Statutory reporting and tax management for the company with the support of the external accounting advisor;Represent the company externally on financial matters;Plenty of ad hoc work and finance tasks as requested by the CEO.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCECA / CPA qualified;Degree in finance, accounting or related discipline;You must have experience in the credit and lending space;Treasury experience critical;Expert technical accounting skills is a must;Expert financial modelling skills, in particular in the lending space;Ability to manage Risks & Opportunities and mitigation strategies for risk, including process and controls;Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment (fintech experience highly beneficial);You must be adaptable and pro-active, wanting to have an impact but willing to get down into the detail;Hands-on is critical; you will be the sole Finance employee in the business;Culture fit is critical - young, buzzing & fast-paced environment.
