Wedding & Events Coordinator Commencing early January Brisbane's Leading Independent Hotel is currently seeking a full-time Wedding & Events Coordinator.

Your focus will be on ensuring your clients' needs are anticipated and met, and ensuring every interaction they have with our hotel is exceptional.
The role Reporting to our Conference & Events Manager, your role will encompass:
Handling incoming wedding, conferencing & event enquiries and responding in the first instanceProviding tailored event proposals (according to hotel standards) within a 24-hour periodResponsibility for the growth of target markets within the events categories and all market segments, chiefly within weddings and social eventsBuilding and enhancing client relationships via face-to-face appointments, and site inspections, and representing the hotel including attendance at external events as required by the Director of Sales and MarketingWorking in a team environment to achieve monthly and annual targetsWeekly and monthly reporting with a focus on new business opportunities and competitor analysis To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following: Previous experience within a hotel (desirable but not limited to)Flexibility of working hours (including weekends to oversee weddings)Ability to build strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholdersAttention to detail and excellent organisational skills is a necessityPrevious experience using Opera PMS & Sales and Catering (desirable)Excellent communication and time management skills Why join our Royal Team?
