Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology) We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with hands-on MERN experience + AWS and have previously mentored other developers.
This will be a permanent role, hybrid model but the office is based in Melbourne.
You will be required to attend the office two days per week.
Due to recent successes, the business is growing and they are looking to add 1 x talented and enthusiastic Senior Developer to their applications team to support the Lead developer.
Working closely with the Product Owner, the successful candidate will be engaged in a range of application activities including design, development and cloud engineering.
This role is for somebody with a pro-active attitude, strong problem mentality and help drive projects through to production.
You will be ready to jump to projects, supporting the Lead Developer and will be working on various e-commerce platforms across orders, products, offers, categories, etc.
Duties & responsibilities: Work independently or as part of a team to solve technically challenging software engineering problems and come up with innovative solutions to these problemsInterpret requirements to develop new and maintain existing technologies using Agile processes, best practice implementation of methodologies and toolsetsPerform tracking and reporting to track project performance and identify areas of concern or areas for potential improvementIdentifying and analysing existing platforms, suggesting improved designs for architectureMentoring and coaching junior developersRequired Skills & Competencies: 5-7 years' experience with developing complex applications with React5-7 years' experience with developing backend services with MongoDB, Express, Node.js, TypeScriptExperience with developing microservicesKnowledge of writing unit tests on Node.js, preferably with jestSQL and relational databases (RDBMS)Knowledge of containerised workloads (Docker), preferably on AWS (ECR, ECS, EKS)Experience of planning, designing and production level deployment in AWS.Next Steps:
