Financial Services partners with all areas of CommBank to provide specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy, technology, and investor relations.
Technology finance is a specialist team that supports the Group's technology area with strategic advice, commercial and financial analysis to ensure optimal strategic decision making and operational excellence.
Technology Finance's mission is to "influence strategic outcomes through transparent insights and passionate people".
Your team forms part of the wider Technology Finance Team of approximately 90 people and provides financial management, planning and controls services to Group and Business Unit CIOs.
See yourself in our team Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial control, reporting and planning services to the Technology division.
We work closely with our stakeholders to help them understand their cost base and deliver current and future strategic and financial plans.
Your team's primary role is to: Provide decision support for Technology's strategic initiatives, including advice on capitalisation of investmentsProvide accurate forecasting, effective management reporting and financial control for strategic investmentsDeliver meaningful insights to drive better business outcomes, including cost optimisation and process simplification.
You will report to the Senior Manager - Strategic Investments Support, Technology Finance.
Your role is to support the Senior Manager, EM and GM of Technology Finance, the Technology Leadership Team and Group Finance within CBA in making efficient decisions.
To deliver on outcomes, you will have extensive dealings across the broader Technology Finance team, as well as Group Finance and the Group Accounting Policy teams.
Key duties will include: Provide detailed analysis on Portfolio reporting, providing analysis on financials and forecasts, and raising issues to the Technology division, Technology Finance LT & Group FinanceMonthly investment spend reporting and insight for senior management and Technology Finance LTProvide decision support for Technology's strategic initiatives, including advice on capitalisation of investmentsAssess investment and operational opportunities through the provision of financial advice, modelling and insightAssist the business to optimise their project performance and forecasting, including continuous improvement initiativesIdentifying and escalating issues and ensuring appropriate risk management and financial control practices are in placeContribute to driving productivity and process improvements across the team's processes We're interested in hearing from people who have: Strong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysisStrong project accounting and financial skillsAdvanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysisThe ability to guide, advise and influence senior stakeholdersAttention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneouslyExcellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills If you would like to hear more about this role please Apply.
