Seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Carole Park team
29th October, 2024With a national network across Australia, Cooper Fluid Systems provides hydraulic, lubrication and fire suppression solutions to customers throughout Australia. We are recognised as an industry leader across the mining, construction, manufacturing, agriculture and defense industries.
About the Role Due to our rapid growth we have a requirement for an experienced Mechanical Fitter, who would like to gain more exposure to hydraulics to be based in our Carole Park branch. This person must be willing to partake in a mix of field work and workshop requirements.
You will either have experience with, or be willing to learn and be responsible for complete hydraulic systems and all affiliated components including but not limited to: PumpsLineal and rotary actuatorsValvingAccumulatorsHigh force toolingCompleting grease and fuel system installationsThese are integral roles to the business. Day-to-day in the role, you will: Be working closely with and mentoring apprentices;Complete all administration of job records accurately and efficiently;Ensure that work is carried out to the highest quality level;Ensure that customer service levels are of the highest standard;Ensure continuous improvement to service levels and look for better ways to do things.About you To succeed in these roles, you will have a disciplined and mature work ethic, as well as the ability to work unsupervised. This position does require a trade qualification in fitting.
