Responsibilities will include: Independently secure earned media opportunities for clients.
Lead daily account management, ensuring all activities align with client objectives.
Produce high-quality drafts of pitches, media releases, op-eds, blog posts, and other copy.
Conduct media monitoring and analysis, providing insights and recommendations based on findings.
Develop and maintain media relationships on behalf of clients.
Assist in crisis management situations, providing strategic advice and support.
Contribute to the development of strategic communication plans.
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on projects.
Participate in industry events and networking activities to represent the agency and expand client opportunities.
Lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
Provide regular performance reports to clients and recommend adjustments to strategies based on data analysis.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to client campaigns.
You are: Adept at achieving media outcomes, particularly in mainstream and consumer media.
A strong communicator with exceptional client orientation.
A proactive problem solver and collaborative team player.
Highly organised.
Interested in business or finance.
Your previous experience should demonstrate: Proficiency in PR industry practices and a good understanding of business or financial industry.
In-depth knowledge of the Australian economic, political, and media landscape.
Basic knowledge or experience in marketing, digital, and social media.
Ability to evaluate material at an intermediate level.
Successful team collaboration and peer skill development.
Confidence in high-stakes engagements.
Excellent stakeholder management.
Creativity in securing media coverage, especially targeting financial audiences.
