It is a scam.Location: PerthType: Permanent / Full TimeDate: 15/10/2024Iconic rail infrastructure projectAttractive bonus offered upon completion of projectFantastic development opportunities to grow your careerAbout the ProjectThe Midland Station Cale Street Project is being delivered by The Midland Junction Alliance (MJA), comprising of Public Transport Authority of Western Australia, McConnell Dowell, Georgiou Group, BG&E and Arcadis. With McConnell Dowell as the principal contractor, the Midland Station is a design and construct project, built in multiple complex stages to facilitate delivery and include the commissioning and interconnection of existing freight and passenger rail line networks and Final Asset Acceptance (FAA) of the works.Responsibilities:Provide input into the site logistic plan including site amenities, housing, entry/exit traffic management, cranage, hoisting, security, and waste management.Assist in overall project management by reviewing construction methods and site performance and coordinating trade contractors against planned activities and programmes.Add input into the look-ahead programme including procurement schedules and communicate with the project team and subcontractors.Ensure subcontractors complete their work in accordance with the scope of work and programme provided by the Project Manager.Perform regular inspections on subcontractors' work ensuring conformity to specifications, drawings, and QA check sheets.Coordinate storage of MJA and subcontractors' goods and materials.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with the WHS Act, AHS Regulations, EPA Act, and all Codes of Practice. Promote job safety and environmental awareness among employees, subcontractors, and all persons in the job vicinity.Minimum Requirements:Trade qualification relevant to the position.Proven experience in fit-out finishes in a commercial construction environment.Ability to read technical construction drawings and a hands-on understanding of structures, steel, façade, building services, etc.Effective communication and negotiation skills to promote the MJA's brand and its vision to both clients and staff.About UsMcConnell Dowell – Creative Construction.
