The aim of the QCGS is to improve the health, wellbeing and function of Queensland children diverse in gender identity through affirmative, family focused, interdisciplinary assessment and specialist care.The Queensland Children's Gender Service External Clinical Service Evaluation report was released on 19 July 2024; Queensland Children's Gender Service (health.qld.gov.au). CHQ HHS is seeking a suitably qualified Sexual Health Physician to provide clinical leadership to assist in the implementation of recommendations of this Service Evaluation.This position of Staff Sexual Health Physician will provide up to 0.3 FTE permanent specialist support to the QCGS and broader networked model of gender services across Queensland, thereby making a substantial contribution to the development of a culture of medical education and safe, effective, patient centred clinical practice.What CHQ HHS can offer:Apart from contributing to the development of Australia's best paediatric health service, you will also benefit from a competitive remuneration package and a working environment which embraces professional development, builds capabilities, and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing.
