Made up of several specialised teams including commercial, finance, legal and risk, these are the professionals who drive our business performance, while always ensuring we've dotted our I's and crossed our T'sAbout The RoleReporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you'll provide detailed financial and commercial analysis to support key decisions across the business. You'll play a key role in delivering commercial support across the wider commercial team with a focus on both operating and capital spending across the Technology function.Work in partnership with members of the Technology Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to provide ongoing financial recommendations and insight to drive achievement of business plans.Support the annual financial planning and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality business planning around costs and capital expenditure.Manage financial systems to ensure all key stakeholders have accurate, complete and up to date financial information direct from our key Finance platforms.Assist with building for Technology initiatives and apply your technology knowledge to financial decisions.Understand monthly financial performance and any variances to Budget, then work with senior leaders to address any areas of concern.Be the key financial contact for nominated SLT members, able to communicate information and insights to drive strong business outcomes by translating management information into actionable plans.Support ad-hoc projects including M&A, financial modelling and investment / capital allocation decisions.About YouThe ideal candidate would have business partnering experience within a fast-paced environment and strong analytical and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability to manage Technology costs.Detailed knowledge of financial management systems to ensure the accurate load of financial budgets, submission of updated forecasts and managing all aspects of finalising month end results.Ability to analyse financial results vs budget and highlight the underlying business driver of key variances.Experience in working with a Technology function and knowledge of key technology concepts impacting the industry preferred.Great communication and ability to win over leaders by consulting and challenging in the right way.Ability to take a proactive approach in the execution of initiatives that will best support the strategic direction of MYOB.Advanced Excel skills and experience with Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI preferred) would be an advantage.Professional accounting or finance accreditation preferred (CA; CPA).Our Culture & BenefitsOur values have stood the test of time.
