Maintenance Mechanical Fitter

Purpose of Role:
We are looking for a site-based Maintenance Mechanical Fitter required for general fitting and assembly duties to all forms of equipment.
This will involve providing safe, effective, and timely mechanical maintenance to our equipment.

You will be responsible for optimising plant operational capacity, including induction furnaces, sand transportation systems, CNC machines, and hydraulic presses.

In addition to the heavy machinery exposure, the role sits within a highly skilled, collaborative team of tradespeople, with opportunities for leadership development and career growth.

Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
Completing workshop repairs and refurbishments on critical equipment.
Inspecting and repairing mechanical infrastructure.
Repair, maintain, and test equipment as per scope of work.
Preventative maintenance of plant and equipment, with a focus on maintaining safety and maximising production.
Resolve operational and technical equipment concerns.
Job Knowledge:
Minimum qualification – Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Mechanical Fitter).
Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
Experience with heavy machinery, fault finding, and repairs of equipment.
Welding and machining experience.
