Executive General Manager of Commercial (Partnerships/Client Services)The Fremantle Football Club, known as the "Freo Dockers," competes in both the men's and women's Australian Football League (AFL). We are committed to creating a sense of belonging and pride among our fans, members, partners, players and staff as we work towards our shared success.About the RoleAs the Executive General Manager of Commercial, you will be a key leader within the Club's Executive Team, responsible for setting the vision and driving sustainable revenue growth through our commercial channels. This is a strategic role, perfect for a commercial leader with a passion for partnership development, corporate engagement, and an innovative approach to maximising revenue opportunities within an elite sporting organisation.Reporting directly to the CEO, the EGM Commercial will oversee the Club's revenue-generating activities including partnerships, client services, premium hospitality sales, retail, and digital advertising. You'll lead a team to achieve ambitious targets, build mutually beneficial partnerships, and create meaningful experiences for corporate members and strategic partners.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Strategy: Drive sustainable revenue growth by implementing a strategic business plan and leveraging new partnerships, premium hospitality, and innovative revenue streams.Client Services & Partnerships: Build and retain strong relationships with corporate partners and sponsors, ensuring top-tier service and securing key renewals.Premium Hospitality & Advertising Sales: Maximise Optus Stadium revenue through premium offerings and expand digital and community sales to broaden reach.Leadership & Culture: Lead and develop the Commercial team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment aligned with the Club values.Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, pricing, and risk management, maintaining brand integrity and financial stability.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate brings:Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline.Senior Leadership Experience with a proven track record in establishing and nurturing high-value commercial partnerships.Strong Financial Acumen with oversight of $10M+ revenue, budget management, and strategic planning.Innovative Approach with experience driving revenue across traditional and emerging markets.Stakeholder Engagement Skills capable of building rapport with senior management, Boards, and diverse external partners.AFL/Elite Sport Experience (highly regarded but not essential) with an understanding of the culture and operational model within the AFL.How to ApplyIf you're ready to be part of Fremantle Football Club's next chapter of growth and success, we'd love to hear from you.
