Our vision is that no container goes to waste, and we're committed to giving empty drink containers a new lease on life while making a positive environmental, social, and economic impact.
Since we began in 2018, we've kept more than 8 billion containers out of litter and landfill, returning more than $800 million in 10-cent refunds to Queensland households, businesses, charities, and community groups.
We are proud to be delivering a program that continues to drive positive impacts across the state, and we're continuing to invest in innovative solutions that ensure all Queenslanders can access the benefits Containers for Change brings.
The Role: As our Senior Strategic Communications Advisor, you'll develop and execute communication and engagement strategies to achieve COEX's enterprise goals.
Acting as a business partner to key stakeholders, this role proactively identifies needs and delivers high-quality communications.
Reporting to our GM Strategic Communications, you'll play a key part in encouraging Queenslanders to increase recycling efforts and help their communities benefit.
You will: Be your internal stakeholders' designated business partner, developing a thorough understanding of their business plans and strategic initiatives.
Proactively identify opportunities and address potential risks to create comprehensive communication and engagement plans that drive success.
Apply a commercial and strategic mindset to all communication opportunities, ensuring alignment with your stakeholder on their key objectives, priorities, and measurable results.
Who You Are: You excel at all aspects of communications through a business partnering approach.
You'll be a great fit for this role if you share our passion for sustainability and have proven success in these areas: Experience providing strategic and proactive communications advice and support in a business partner approach.
Demonstrated success delivering communication plans to support enterprise strategy and priority strategic initiatives.
High-level communication skills to proactively manage and engage internal and external stakeholders, including an ability to translate complex concepts for a range of audiences.
Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing, or relevant equivalent practical experience.
Impressive engagement and collaboration skills to achieve shared goals and drive success.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
