Role Details:
The Nursing Services at the Proserpine Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse (General Ward) to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your Opportunity: The Clinical Nurse provides nursing services within the health service settings and is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education, and/or research.
The activities are predominantly clinical in nature but also provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities.The Clinical Nurse provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care, and provides leadership and support to other nursing staff within the General Wards and/or Emergency Department of the Proserpine Hospital.About the Team:
The Whitsunday Health Service is made up of two facilities: The Community Health Campus, Cannonvale, and the Hospital Campus, Proserpine.
The hospital is a 35-bed acute hospital that offers a number of specialty inpatient and outpatient services.
The Community Health Campus offers a range of community health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team.
The Whitsunday Health Service covers the Whitsunday Regional Shire, Midge Point, and Bloomsbury.
