About the role: The AN-ACC Coordinator's role within Menarock LIFE exists to support the quality systems and processes within the assessment, care planning and funding models of the Clinical Governance Framework.
The role has two key focus areas:
Effective and robust quality systems where clinical and operational documentation requirements are in accordance with the Aged Care Act and its amendments.AN-ACC funding optimisation requirements are consistent with the Aged Care and Other Legislation Amendment (Royal Commission Response) Bill 2022.The incumbent is a senior Registered Nurse with extensive experience in residential aged care with clinical, quality, compliance and funding expertise.
The role will require the incumbent to undertake travel to sites on a regular basis to meet the position deliverables.
About you: Bachelor of Nursing qualification in Australia (as a minimum requirement)Current Registered Nurse with AHPRAPrevious significant experience in senior nurse management clinical care assessment and AN-ACC roles in residential aged careDemonstrated experience in dealing with Assessment Management OrganisationsDemonstrated awareness and proficiency in the AN-ACC suite of assessmentsDemonstrated ability to lodge classification and reclassification requests in the MyAgedCare portalDemonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting Aged Care Payment StatementsDemonstrated knowledge of and skills in clinical assessment, care delivery and evaluation in aged care settingsHigh level knowledge and application of the AN-ACC toolDemonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Act, Classification Principles and Quality of Care PrinciplesStrong level of clinical judgement and analysis with expert assessment and care planning proficiencyDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to meet stringent timeframes in a complex and dynamic environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with formal report and letter writing skillsStrong attention to detailHigh level competency with IT systems, including online programs and MS Office suiteWhat we will do for you: Working with a dedicated team of staff focused on quality resident care and safetyWorking in a trusted and values based organisation focused on quality, safety and complianceOngoing learning and development opportunitiesAttractive salary packageIf you are ready for the next step in your career where you are empowered to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents we would love to hear from you.
