Coming from a carpentry/building background ready to take the next step in your career, you will review and quote on projects, ensure work is completed on time and schedules are met.
You will be responsible for providing regular progress updates to clients and ensuring a high level of service is always provided.
This is a fantastic chance to join an established company that values its people and great culture above all elseKey Duties & Responsibilities:Leadership and management experience overseeing multiple work sitesManaging internal and external stakeholder relationshipsIdentifying key gaps for business development opportunitiesUnderstanding of financial aspects of the business and cost reportingLearn to create accurate monthly forecastCommunicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobsHandling of escalated claims and conflict management with all stakeholders.Ensuring work is carried out to a high standardMaintaining up to date documentation and complianceProblem solving strategiesLiaise between insurance companies and insured partiesDispute and issue resolution, as requiredEnsure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OH&S requirementsEnsure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & all relevant documentation is signed offThis role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development, empowering you to learn and excel in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.About You:Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsBuilding or construction management backgroundWillingness to learn and adapt to new challengesCarpentry or Facilities background (Preferred)Local industry contacts ideal, however, not essentialExcellent communication and customer service skillsWillingness to learn driving business growth and commercial acumenAbility to manage multiple & competing prioritiesAbility to be empathetic to the needs of the clientCurrent motor vehicle licenseProject management skills desirable but not essentialDo you have the urge to hit the ground running and the energy to succeed?
