This really is an exciting time to join Black Cat Syndicate Limited, as the company is moving at a rapid pace through development and into production, where you get to play a part in an up-and-coming gold mining company.
Having commenced high-grade underground mining and processing plant refurbishment activities, the aim is to be pouring gold bars at Paulsens by the end of 2024.
If this sounds like something you want to be involved in, we are now looking to find motivated 'can do' Process Operators to round out our Processing Team.
This position involves working at Paulsens Gold Mine, located in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 180km west of Paraburdoo, on a 15/13 FIFO roster.
About the Opportunity Our Process Operators are responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned operations and equipment within the mill and crushing circuit, to optimise mill feed, circuit availability and gold recovery.
Key accountabilities include:
Monitor, control and operate processing and crushing circuits of the mill including multi-stage crushing circuits, grinding, CIL, gravity and electro-winning circuits, gold room, tails storage facility, stackers, conveyors and water systems. Conduct clean-up duties where required to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely. Identify and report all mechanical and electrical issues to the Shift Supervisor. Assist Fitters in the repair of equipment to ensure minimal impact on production. Operate all associated support equipment, including excavator, front end loader and skid steer / bobcat safely and productively. You will need the following:
Practical experience and sound knowledge operating mineral processing plants preferably gold, and associated infrastructure in the mining industry. Proven experience within a Gold Room operation is an advantage. Capability to complete repetitive tasks at a consistent standard. Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket (or ability to gain). Overall, we are seeking a positive and motivated 'can do' person, who has strong problem-solving skills with an ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, able to work collaboratively, and with a diverse range of people across all levels.
