Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to provide specialist advice, support, and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy, and investor relations.See yourself in our TeamThe role of Group Treasury is to ensure the financial strength of the CBA Group in all operating environments. As a team, we have extensive authority to procure and manage the financial resources of the Group and hold significant execution, planning, and risk management responsibilities. Group Treasury operates in a changing and dynamic landscape; this means your tasks and role will naturally evolve to deal with new challenges and environments.We are a high-performing global team - become part of this and we'll help you into a career-defining role that is strong on growth and reward. We are a Sydney-based team with at least half your time each month connecting in the office, allowing for flexibility in the remaining time.Key areas you will be providing support include:Balance Sheet & Capital Management is responsible for driving strategic development and efficient use of the Group's balance sheet. The team supports optimal business decisions through efficient price settings and develops frameworks to determine the appropriate amount and mix of capital.Funding & Liquidity manages the Group's debt issuance and day-to-day liquidity. The team is market-focused and engages with debt investors, investment banks, and rating agencies to ensure CBA maintains a cost-effective and sustainable funding mix. The team is also responsible for managing the Group's cash, liquidity, and collateral position.Liquidity Reporting & Stress Testing delivers insights and accurate reporting and analytical capability to assist liquidity/capital management decisions and fulfill regulatory obligations. The team helps to deliver a strong and efficient balance sheet through class-leading analytics.Chief Investment Office is a market-facing team that manages the group's liquid asset portfolio we are required to hold for regulatory purposes as well as interest rate, foreign currency, and basis risk hedging and trading activities.We're interested in hearing from people who value:1-3 years' experience preferably but not exclusively in the banking or financial services industryStrong analytical and numeracy skillsProblem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights from data and market trendsExcellent verbal, written communication skills, and critical thinking skills.Stakeholder management and negotiation skillsStrong sense of initiative, curiosity, and an ability to prioritize tasksHigher tertiary education in a related field; Commerce, Law, Finance, Actuarial, Financial Mathematics, Financial Statistics, etc.You are an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent ResidentIf you're looking for an opportunity to work for a financial services organization that offers growth and development and has a great culture, then this is the role for youWhether you're passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career here is for you.Our people bring their diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives to build a respectful, inclusive, and flexible workplace.
