Mc Truck Driver

As our MC Truck Driver with our Townsville Mail Centre, you'll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out.
You might not be working from home, but you'll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn't get better than that
This is a permanent full time role working on a 24hr shift rotation across Monday to Sunday.
30% shift penalties apply, starting shift from 6pm to midnight.
15% shift penalties apply, starting shift from 00:01am to 06:00am and from 10:15am to 5:59pm.
There is also a tonnage allowance for each shift plus overtime rates.
This role tends to earn circa $100K + a year including allowances and penalties… You'll be? Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery? Completing your own daily vehicle safety check and driving a B Double Combination?? Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres from Townsville to Mackay or Cairns to do change overs (no overnight stays)?? Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups Flexible to work a rotating roster from Sunday - Saturday (shifts between 5am to 10pm - shifts starting after 6pm attract 30% loading)? About you? You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player.

You'll also need to? ? Hold a relevant MC vehicle license with relevant experience Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility? Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills? You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening, national police checks and an MC driving assessment Flexibility to work overtime when required How we'll deliver for you?
