The Role NextSense has an exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join our team at Moonee Ponds.
This is a permanent full-time role that reports to a Lead clinician and includes one day a week of regional travel.
You'll make a difference in this role by: Providing clinical services including individual sessions, group sessions, and assessments that focus on achieving the speech, language and communication goals of the client and their family.
Provide additional required services associated with complex clients.
Providing support for predominantly school aged and early intervention clients, in addition this may include clients in the Cochlear Implant Program spanning all age groups Assist with initiatives to develop quality services that reach more people with hearing loss Understand and use NextSense processes related to NDIS funding for clients Support clients together with their family to achieve their therapy goals and realise their full potential Collaborate with interdisciplinary team/s to develop comprehensive care plans for clients What we can offer you Above award remuneration and salary packaging allowing you to increase your take home pay Unlimited personal/carer's leave 2 weeks paid leave over Christmas in addition to 4 weeks annual leave Paid parental leave of 14 weeks for primary carer and 6 weeks for secondary carer Access to industry leading education and professional development Collaborative work environment Wellbeing program including Employee Assistance Program??????? We work with children, adults, and their families, providing a holistic approach to hearing services for newborns through to people over 90 years old, and helping children who are blind or have low vision to develop the right skills, mobility, and independence to confidently explore their world.
NextSense has been breaking boundaries since 1860, and we've been expanding our services ever since.

While the centre is based in NSW, its impact will extend across the country—and your role from our Moonee Ponds office will be essential in bringing these advancements to life.
To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate you meet the following selection criteria; Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia or equivalent body Demonstrated Speech Pathology experience in a range of settings Familiarity with operational systems and processes related to clients, including NDIS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check in accordance with Victorian Child Protection legislation Ability to work autonomously as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a team We're here to help.
