The OpportunityVeolia Water Operations is seeking an experienced Asset Planning and Project Engineer to join our team at the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project in Murarrie, 4172.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and delivering the long-term capital program for this major water infrastructure project.What's on offerLead capital works planning for a global water industry leaderGain technical knowledge and experience within state of the art water treatment facilitiesInvolvement with one of the largest urban drought initiatives in AustraliaInnovate with a team focused on sustainable water solutionsBase salary + car allowance + fuel card + super + bonusFlexible work and RDO Option every fortnightWhat you'll be responsible forCollaborating with operational teams and SMEs to ensure the effective development, prioritisation and delivery of the long term capital programDeveloping business cases for asset renewals and scheme improvement projectsSupporting asset condition assessments and gathering performance dataUndertaking options analysis for asset renewalsDeveloping project scopes, schedules, risk plans and budgets for renewal optionsEngagement of service providers to conduct detailed design and engineering studiesManaging subcontractors, consultants and budgetsProviding technical support for the projects delivery team, including involvement in HAZIDs, HAZOPS, design reviews and acceptance testingAssisting the projects and operational teams with technical supportWhat you'll need to be successfulRelevant tertiary qualificationsProject planning, design or delivery experienceProven skills in writing business cases for asset renewal and improvement projectsA Veolia CareerAt Veolia, we're on a mission to build a more sustainable future through ecological transformation.
