A professional and loving family in Casuarina, Northern NSW are seeking a nurturing, mature, experienced and confident nanny to assist with the household and care for 2 girls (8 and 6yrs of age).An ideal nanny will be kind and calm, with a happy/bubbly, warm and caring personality.
A nanny that is experienced in early childhood, is active, responsive, attentive, open to engaging and having fun with the child, spending time indoors and outdoors and providing stimulating and creative activities which will support and nurture the child's learning milestones and development.The nanny must be comfortable with the parents working from home.
Home office is away from play areas so it won't interfere with nanny and child time.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for the childFollow the child's routinePlay and engage in age-appropriate creative activities to assist in the child's developmentTake the child out for walks/playground/parks etc.Preparation of meals and snacks for the child, occasional evening family meal prepLaundry – Fold clothes, occasional hang of clothes (rare)Light household duties – Cleaning up after the child, light clean of house, kitchen, tidy dishes, clean and put away, floors vacuumed/mopped if needed (unlikely)Start Date: ASAP (Flexible for the right candidate)Contract: Permanent – 6 months initially with the option to extend long term – ongoingPay: From $35-40 per hour depending on experienceNote: Driving essential – Full Drivers licence requiredThe days and normal hours are: 25-30 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 12pm–5pm / 1pm-6pm (25hrs) or likely 12pm-6pm (30hrs), could be flexible at times to vary the hours e.g., 7am – 1pm.The family's expectations from their nanny are:Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or household manager experienceHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current working with children's check numberAble to cook healthy nutritious family mealsAble to swimDisplay strong communication skills and speak good EnglishFull Drivers Licence and clean driving record (To drive family vehicle)Job Reference: LLC143Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
