About the roleAs the Head of Project Development at Hanwha Energy Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic initiatives in the energy sector.
This full-time position, based in North Sydney, NSW, will involve overseeing the development of innovative energy projects that align with the company's mission and objectives.
What you'll be doing Lead the development and implementation of new energy projects, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and align with the company's strategic visionManage the project lifecycle from concept to completion, including feasibility studies, resource planning, and risk assessmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential project opportunitiesLiaise with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders to secure necessary approvalsMonitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as neededProvide strategic recommendations and reports to senior management on project performance and future initiativesFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the project development teamWhat we're looking for Extensive experience (8+ years) in project development in the natural resources sectorsStrong understanding of the regulatory landscape, industry trends, and best practices in the energy industryProven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budgetExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholdersDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify innovative solutionsProficient in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to lead cross-functional teamsRelevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related fieldWhat we offerAt Hanwha Energy Australia, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters professional growth and work-life balance.
