Master Scheduler required for a 3-6 month contract (daily rate) - Sydney/Melbourne/Perth
16th September, 2024We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Scheduler.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising project schedules across multiple streams, ensuring the efficient allocation and management of resources.
You will play a key role in uplifting our project management capabilities by streamlining processes and enhancing coordination between teams.Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimise master project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.Coordinate resources across multiple projects to ensure efficient utilisation and timely delivery.Collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and department heads to track progress and manage dependencies.Monitor schedule risks and implement mitigation strategies as required.Provide expert guidance on resource management best practices to uplift project management capabilities across the organisation.Generate regular reports on project status, resource allocation, and scheduling performance.Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and tools.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a Master Scheduler, with a strong background in resource management and project scheduling.Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Preferred:Experience in uplifting project management capabilities across teams or organisations.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP). #J-18808-Ljbffr
