The EFNL has developed a position of considerable strength and standing in the delivery of community sport.The League's mission is to promote and facilitate the playing and development of football and netball for the benefit of all participants at all levels through the eastern region of metropolitan Melbourne.The Club and Community Manager will work with the League administration, member clubs, AFL Victoria and the broader community to support and drive growth and development for the League and its clubs.The position will require a team player who is a proven relationship builder, an outstanding communicator and can work closely with our clubs, sponsors, local governments, and stakeholders.
A passionate all-rounder ready to roll their sleeves up and make a difference in the local sporting community.The Club and community Manager maintains key relationships with EFNL clubs, playing a pivotal role supporting the club network with any number of unique requirements and/or challenges.
In addition, the Club Support Manager plays a key role in connecting the EFNL with the respective AFL Victoria development staff responsible for the administering of Auskick and school-based programs in the eastern suburbs, and in turn continually seeks to find opportunities to strengthen player pathways from such avenues to EFNL clubs.
The Club and community manager is key in league/government relations (relating to facilities and other), as well as club funding opportunities.The role requires an energetic individual with an ability to establish, maintain and leverage strong collaborative working relationships with an array of key stakeholders.
This is a full-time (1.0 FT) position offered initially on a fixed term contract basis for one (1 year), with a view to permanent extension.
