The position
We are seeking applications for an exciting role within our Family Services team based at Yarralumla.
Working within the area of Special Works, the Team Leader will support the day-to-day running of the team that provides timely and appropriate support and services to the families we assist, including crisis and transitional support through program-provided accommodation or outreach to families currently homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The Team Leader will play a key role in monitoring and supporting the team with high-quality case reviews, evaluation of service delivery, and providing coaching and reflective practice sessions to deliver service improvement.

About you
You will have well-developed communication skills along with a proactive, collaborative mindset and a demonstrated resilience and capacity to adapt to change and sometimes challenging environments, along with a high-level understanding of the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.

Certificate IV/bachelor's degree or other tertiary qualifications related to welfare/community/social work (Highly Desirable) and proven relevant experience in the field and/or extensive and deep expertise in a similar or related role.

Successful applicants must be willing to undertake a National Police Check upon commencement, either hold or obtain a Working With Vulnerable People card.
A current driver's license and first aid certificate are also essential to this role.
