Analysis & Reporting (Banking & Financial Services)
For a client of expertech, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Reporting Analyst to work in a Hybrid setting in either Brisbane or Sydney.
This Senior Reporting Analyst role will establish and deliver the performance data, reporting, analysis, and insights that enable the ongoing improvement in customer experience, service delivery, efficiency, and risk management.
Initially, the key focus will be to identify and elicit key requirements with senior stakeholders and to quantify the benefits for the reporting solutions.
Thereafter, the design and development of the visualisation and dashboards will need to be completed, and results will need to be measured and communicated back to the relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Elicit key requirements with senior stakeholders to identify their reporting needs and establish areas of improvement for performance reporting.
Use analytical reasoning and data modelling to identify problems and develop recommendations that address business needs.
Enable leaders through designing and delivering high-quality and timely operational performance data, reporting, analyses, and insights.
Use BI Tools and SQL to automate and enhance operational performance reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
Facilitate training sessions for operational staff on the use of reporting tools and interpretation of insights to drive self-servicing.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of operational data through rigorous validation processes.
Drive a culture of benefits realisation through the design, development, and delivery of reporting mechanisms that measure the impact of improvement projects and initiatives and facilitate continuous improvement loops.
Experience & Skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to have a business conversation about BI & reporting needs at a senior level.
Ability to identify, optimise, and measure continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and ability to bring the organisation along on the BI journey.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Data warehouse & SQL.
Power BI & Tableau.
