Seasonal Casual Employees - Front End Department Costco Wholesale MoorabbinCasual Positions - On call with no minimum hoursFixed Term from November 2024 until February 2025General daily tasks and responsibilities: Greet members, help members, answer questions, relate information on special promotions, thank members, and provide prompt and courteous member service.Check packaging for tampering and follow all safety and security procedures.Run for items such as merchandise, boxes, register supplies, and item numbers as requested by cashiers to keep lines moving smoothly.Follow proper departmental procedures for performance of duties.Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and clean spills and trip hazards immediately.Perform related tasks such as set up and closing duties for the department, including returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking, and cleaning area.Packs member orders into boxes and loads them onto a separate cart or flatbed. Assists members loading orders into cars when appropriate.Transfer items not on the belt to a separate cart or flatbed as cashiers scan them.Maintain cleanliness of register area and general front end area.Retrieve carts and flatbeds from the parking area using a rope with clasping hook, pushing no more than 10 carts together. Keep the lot area free of debris and sweep in front of the building.Non-Essential Functions and Tasks: Assist other areas in the department as necessary.Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.Operate mechanical trash compactor/cardboard baler.Job Ref: AU2774W-000186
