About the Role:
Freedom Property Investors is looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Property Journalist.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, journalism experience, and exceptional writing skills.
The successful candidates will conduct research, edit, and present property/economic trends and bulletins.
They will have access to leading Australian property market insights.
Our journalists will produce 2 articles per day, will collaborate with our marketing and research teams, and will directly report to the Head of the Research Department.
Key Skills & Qualities:
A bachelor's degree is required, and writing talent, and experience in journalism are a must.
Experience in journalism and expertise in news gathering, writing, and presenting.
Strong research skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Creative and innovative thinking.
Ability to take feedback and implement.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with AP Style and journalistic ethics.
Responsibilities:
Produce 2 articles per day.
Research, prepare, edit, and present current and relevant Property/Economic trends & bulletins.
Compile different formats of media and present a data-driven argument.
Work under deadlines & deliver quality articles.
Always be up to date with the latest property news and market trends.
Deliver quick articles when sudden news or trends occur.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in journalism or a related field.
Experience with conducting interviews and gathering information for articles.
Experience with copywriting and editing.
Experience with social media marketing or content marketing is a plus.
