Here, you'll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.The roleWe have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Wardrobe department as a Part Time Laundry Attendant, allocated between 48 - 76 hours per fortnight.
Shifts will be anywhere between 5am-9pm (Monday - Friday) so availability during these times is essential.Key responsibilities include: Collect and sort garments and linen; inspect for damage, wash, dry, fold and press.Operate and maintain domestic and commercial washers, dryers, garment pressers, and garment and linen finishing equipment following care label instructions.Processing of hotel guest laundry and dry-cleaning and using the computer to apply charges as appropriate.Report unusual incidents, complaints, missing or damaged items immediately, ensuring staff and patron security are maintained at all times.Ensure that customers enjoy a positive experience through provision of an exemplary standard of service relations.About youYou'll bring the following:
Experience working in a laundry or dry cleaning environment would be preferred.Reliability and a trustworthy attitude.Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure when required.Ability to work independently and as a team member.Additional InformationMust be available Monday - Saturday between 5am - 9pm - rotating shifts.Laundry experience preferred.Able to work between 48 - 76 hours per fortnight.What you can expect from us On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
